Same here. I was sounding out “Genwuh” with a hard G at first. Once I realized what was being said, I found it really distracting how many of those sounds require a tongue to make.

But I guess it would have been completely unintelligible if written accurately, wouldn’t it? Without a tongue, general would probably sound more like “z heh-uh”.

In the maybe futile attempt to explain a joke, mutilation from indian raids dialed up to a very silly extreme + people talking funny + grouchy boss & wounded subordinate humor + silly caption all combine to make something very strange, but very funny.

...and it *is* hard to read.
